Sarbloh Reese’s Bars (Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars) From Gurmat Bibek
Peanut Butter:
- 1 cup washed and dried peanuts
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup unrefined raw coconut oil
- 2 tbsp raw honey
- 1-2 tablespoon oil
Chocolate Layer:
- 2 tbsp unrefined raw coconut oil
- 2 tbsp butter or gheeo
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp raw honey
Instructions:
- Place dried peanuts in a food processor or blender and process peanuts until smooth. (This is a pretty long process.)You might need to scrape down the sides and put oil during the process if the mixture seems dry or does not seem to come together.
- Take the peanut butter out and mix in salt, coconut oil, and raw honey until well combined.
- Take this mixture and spread it out in a small round thaal.
- Place the mixture in the freezer.
- To make the chocolate layer, melt coconut oil and butter/gheeo in a bata over low heat.
- Remove from heat and add cocoa and raw honey.
- Stir until well incorporated and smooth.
- emove pan with peanut butter from the freezer and pour chocolate over top.
- Place back in freezer for about 15 minutes or longer.
- Remove pan again from the freezer and cut into bars while it is still soft yet sturdy.
