Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons dahi (yogurt)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla (powder, extract, or pods)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 and 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups oats
- (optional) 1/2 cup walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F
- Grease and flour a big (9x13 inches or bigger) thaal
- In large bowl or mixer, mix the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until creamy.
- Mix in the dahi slowly.
- Mix more.
- Stir in vanilla, salt, baking soda and powder, flour and oats.
- Mix well and pour in thaal, then put in oven.
- Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let them cool for about 5 minutes.
- Cut them into square bars
